Good morning, Hub readers!

Last week, we asked which fairy tale or folk tale retelling was your favorite. It was a close race for first, but Cinder by Marissa Meyer came out on top with 29% of the vote. (It’s also a Teens’ Top Ten book, so it makes sense that it’d do well!) Second place went to Beauty by Robin McKinley (26%), and third to The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale (15%). You can see detailed results for all of our previous polls in the Polls Archive. Thanks to all of you who voted!

It’s March and while it’s not technically spring yet, we’re definitely thinking about upcoming spring sequels! Which one are you most looking forward to? Vote in the poll below, or leave us a comment if we’ve left out something you’re really excited about. (There are a lot of things we couldn’t include lest the poll have like, 40 options, so we had to be choosy!)

Which spring sequel are you most looking forward to?

  • Requiem by Lauren Oliver (March 5) (23%, 33 Votes)
  • Game by Barry Lyga (April 16) (17%, 24 Votes)
  • Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare (March 19) (15%, 22 Votes)
  • Quintana of Charyn by Melina Marchetta (April 23) (14%, 20 Votes)
  • The Elite by Kiera Cass (April 23) (13%, 18 Votes)
  • Fox Forever by Mary E. Pearson (March 19) (5%, 7 Votes)
  • Fearless by Cornelia Funke (April 2) (4%, 6 Votes)
  • Light by Michael Grant (April 2) (3%, 5 Votes)
  • Shadow on the Sun by David Macinnis Gill (March 26) (2%, 3 Votes)
  • Spirit's Chosen by Esther Friesner (April 23) (1%, 2 Votes)
  • Inferno by Sherrilyn Kenyon (April 9) (1%, 1 Votes)
  • Time Riders: The Eternal War by Alex Scarrow (May 21) (1%, 1 Votes)
  • Code by Kathy Reichs and Brendan Reichs (March 12) (1%, 1 Votes)
  • Dead Silence by Kimberly Derting (April 16) (0%, 0 Votes)
  • Renegade by Amy Carol Reeves (April 8) (0%, 0 Votes)

How did Dark Triumph by Robin LaFevers not make the list? I am so beyond excited for it. Although I guess maybe it’s not really considered a “sequel” because it’s more of a companion book, I think?

For some reason, most other sequels I’m looking forward to come out in fall: The Bitter Kindom by Rae Carson, The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater, Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas, Just One Year by Gayle Forman, and of course, Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins!

I would have to go with Dark Triumph too
