Good morning, Hub readers! Last week we asked you to choose the best YA-lit inspired excuse for not turning in your homework. Your top choice, taking in 41% of the vote, was inspired by David Levithan’s Every Day: “Was there an assignment? Sorry, I wasn’t inhabiting this body yesterday.” Tied for second place with each getting 20% of the vote was “My capaill uisce ate it,” inspired by The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater, and “I’d tell you I did my homework, but then I’d have to kill you,” inspired by Ally Carter’s Gallagher Girls series. You can see detailed results for all of our previous polls in the Polls Archive. Thanks to all of you who voted! (And make sure you never actually have to use any of those excuses, okay?)

Although the calendar says the first day of fall is still a few days away, we’re ready for the change of seasons here at The Hub. And it’s not just about craving a delicious pumpkin spice latte…  there are so many good sequel and series books to look forward to this fall!  Which title are you most excited to get your hands on? Vote in the poll below or add more fall sequel and series titles in the comments!

Which fall sequel are you anticipating the most?
