How do I advertise?
How do I submit an article?
Does YALS review books? Can you read my novel?
YALS reviews professional materials only, including books and websites that help librarians, library staff, and educators with their careers and day-to-day duties. YALS does not review young adult books. If you are an author of a new book for teens, please read our Resources for Authors and Publishers.
How can I access the latest issue of YALS digitally?
If you are a subscriber or YALSA member, you can access the latest issue of YALS in YALSA’s “Members Only” section on its website. Once at the members only section, you will have to log-in with your ALA account in order to access the content. Back issues of YALS (where available) can be accessed in the archive section of this website.
When is the latest issue available digitally?
Generally, the digital version is available about a week or two after you receive your print version. Announcements about the release of the digital version will be made on this site and also in the weekly YALSA E-Newsletter to its members.
Does YALS publish research articles?
YALS does not publish research articles. However, YALSA does have a research journal, The Journal of Research on Libraries and Young Adults, that does. Learn more here.
