Last week, we asked you to choose the most lovable vehicle in YA lit. Arthur Weasley’s flying Ford Anglia from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling was clearly the favorite with 64% of your vote. Gansey’s Camaro (“The Pig”) from The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater came in second with 23%, and Hub reader Lucie wrote with the suggestion of Ari’s red truck in Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz. Perry and Aria! How do you keep forgetting about the Ever Night series??
Thanks, Shari! I love this series, actually– it’s just that I haven’t had a chance to read the third book yet. I don’t know how Perry and Aria’s story ends, so I wasn’t sure if they’d be a good fit for this poll! I can’t wait to read it, though, so don’t tell me. ;)
How about Harry and Craig from Two Boys Kissing or Liza and Annie from Annie on My Mind?
Oh, these are great suggestions– thank you, Jenni! Sigh, I’m still hoping Liza and Annie made it work… how many years later? That book really stays with the reader.
